Bradley Beal

The Washington Wizards are coming to a proverbial fork in the road this offseason. Superstar shooting guard Bradley Beal is essentially on an expiring contract, as he has a player option for the 2022-23 season.

If he doesn’t commit to the organization long-term, the Wizards are going to have to consider fielding offers for him this offseason so that they do not lose him in free agency without any compensation.

The Celtics should be one of the teams that pursue him should he hit the trade block. While Boston doesn’t have the draft capital that other organizations have, they could build a package around Jaylen Brown, arguably the best player the Wizards would be offered in a deal for Bradley Beal.

The Celtics do not want to trade away Brown, but if the opportunity arose to land a star player, it is something Boston would have to seriously consider doing, according to Chris Mannix.

Beal and Tatum would make for one of the best scoring duos in the NBA. Teams would struggle to slow them both down, and Bradley Beal would help compensate for the lack of a point guard currently on the roster with his playmaking skills.
