Detroit Pistons: Tyler Herro
The Detroit Pistons hit it big when they signed Jerami Grant in free agency last year. Grant was looking for a team that would provide him a bigger role than the Denver Nuggets could. He bet on himself and had a breakout season with Detroit and now everyone is a big winner.
Detroit could now look to flip the 27-year old Grant in a trade to add even more assets to the roster. If that is the course of action they take, Miami Heat shooting guard Tyler Herro is one player they should target in return.
Herro was held out of trade talks during the season at the deadline, but it has been reported by 5 Reasons Sports that there is a 75 percent chance he is traded this offseason.
While Herro is done listening to those rumors, they will continue to persist until a deal is agreed upon or the season begins and he remains on the roster. With the Heat looking to upgrade their roster, Herro is the player they are likely to include in a deal.

Detroit could use his shot-making, especially in a swap for Grant. He would bring a scoring punch to their backcourt, which could consist of Killian Hayes and Cade Cunningham at this time next week. That would give the Pistons a very bright future for their backcourt, as Herro would be afforded the chance to truly develop his skills in Detroit that he wouldn’t be for the win-now Heat.
