Dallas Mavericks: Kristaps Porzingis
For the second consecutive year, the Dallas Mavericks were eliminated by the Los Angeles Clippers in the first round of the playoffs this season. Whenever the Mavericks acquired Kristaps Porzingis from the New York Knicks before the 2019-20 season, they thought they were getting an All-Star caliber player to pair with Luka Doncic.
However, Porzingis has declined in recent years, partly due to knee injuries he’s suffered. Given the fact that Doncic is in need of an extension and Dallas needs to surround him with better talent, it’s time for the Mavericks to move on from Porzingis.
Denver Nuggets: Michael Porter Jr.
The dream of advancing to the NBA Finals this season were halted for the Denver Nuggets upon the season-ending injury to Jamal Murray. While Nikola Jokic proceeded to take home the NBA’s MVP award, Michael Porter Jr. was forced to see an increase in his workload once Murray went down.
Even though there were moments where we saw Porter’s true star potential, his lows are extremely low. The Nuggets don’t seem to have any plans of signing Porter to an extension before his rookie contract expires, so trading him would appear to be a logical move for Denver this offseason.
Golden State Warriors: James Wiseman
The Golden State Warriors are projected to be a team that is aggressive this offseason in adding a star player to their All-Star trio of Stephen Curry, Klay Thompson, and Draymond Green. Of the players on Golden State’s current roster that they would be willing to part ways with, James Wiseman may hold the most value of the bunch.

Andrew Wiggins would need to be included in most trades that involve a player that has an expensive contract. But Wiseman, who is entering his second year in the NBA next season, is someone that the Warriors should look to trade in exchange for a star player that can help them return to the playoffs.
