It was another disappointing end to the 2020-21 NBA season for the Los Angeles Clippers. They have been viewed as a championship contender for the last two years but have been unable to come out of the Western Conference. They made a run to the conference finals this year but injuries held them back.

Kawhi Leonard suffered an injury that forced him to miss the conference finals. This severely hindered the progress that the Clippers were making. Paul George was able to step up and turn in some big-time performances but it was not enough to get past the Phoenix Suns.

It was rumored that the Clippers could decide to blow things up a bit if they did not reach their goal but that could potentially change with the status of the injuries. If not, we could see some big moves coming out of Los Angeles once again.

The Denver Nuggets are another contender in the West. It would be a bit surprising to see the Clippers send one of their big-name players to another contender but they would have to get the right return. Denver is another team that has not been able to take that step toward a championship.

They have finished near the top of the conference in each of the last two years but have come up just short. Nikola Jokic was named MVP of the league and Jamal Murray, who was injured during the postseason, has looked like a complete point guard.

This would be one of the biggest blockbusters that could happen in the offseason. Let’s take a look at what a potential NBA trade scenario centered around Paul George might look like between the Denver Nuggets and Los Angeles Clippers.
