Denver Nuggets Receive: F Paul George
LA Clippers Receive: F Michael Porter Jr., F Aaron Gordon, G Monte Morris, No. 26 pick, 2026 first-round pick and 2028 first-round pick
Paul George would be the star going back to the Denver Nuggets in this NBA trade scenario. The Nuggets would send away some assets to where they would be able to keep Nikola Jokic and Jamal Murray to team up with George.
That would be the ultimate goal and Denver has the capital built up that might be able to get it done. The return would have to begin with Michael Porter Jr. He is looking like a blossoming star in the league and could be their biggest trade piece.
Monte Morris and Aaron Gordon will be the other starting-caliber players going to Los Angeles. The Clippers would also be able to get two first-round picks to use in the future.

Even if Kawhi Leonard were to return to the Clippers in free agency, he’s likely to miss most of the 2021-22 season. Now would be the prime opportunity to move Paul George in exchange for more depth and a rising star in Michael Porter Jr.
Having a full season as a feature threat could do wonders for the development of Porter Jr. Being able to also receive a replacement wing defender in Gordon along with a steady-hand at point guard with Morris would be something to consider.
Let’s take a closer look and see how this NBA trade scenario centered around Paul George would impact both the Los Angeles Clippers and Denver Nuggets.
