Does this trade make sense for the Philadelphia 76ers?
The Philadelphia 76ers finally added shooters on the perimeter this season. It was missing over the last few years but after doing so, the team took the next step during the regular season because they had balance on the floor.
Despite achieving so much success in the regular season, the 76ers couldn’t get it done in the Eastern Conference Semifinals. Philadelphia showed a lack of depth and this is something they could look to fix in the offseason but the limitations of Ben Simmons were crippling.
If the 76ers want to continue to add shooters, Hield would be a welcomed addition. He has turned into an elite marksman from three-point range. This is what the Sixers could look for. It worked out well with the addition of Curry on the perimeter. He performed well in the postseason.
Actually, he was one of the only ones to show up against Atlanta. Bagley has not taken that step in Sacramento and the Kings have begun putting him in trade talks. He would be able to learn from Embiid in hopes of developing further as a player.

The 76ers will be looking to advance further in the playoffs next season. They will continue to be part of the top of the Eastern Conference but it is important that they continue to balance the lineup in hopes of being that championship team.
