Miami Heat Receive: G Buddy Hield
Sacramento Kings Kings Receive: F/C Precious Achiuwa, F Andre Iguodala and 2025 first-round pick
Buddy Hield would give the Miami Heat some more prowess along the three-point line. He has quickly turned into one of the best shooters in the league and this would go well with players like Jimmy Butler and Bam Adebayo.
The Heat have some assets they would be able to send Sacramento but Hield would not be too expensive. He is overpaid on his current contract and that results in his trade value not necessarily being reflective of the impact he makes on the court at the surface level.
Precious Achiwua would lead the return going back to Sacramento. He is a young player that has taken his game to another level recently. Andre Iguodala and a first-round pick in 2025 would round out the deal going back to the Kings.
Buddy Hield is entering the second-year of a four-year, $94 million contract. The annual salary is descending in value so that makes it more salary cap friendly for whichever team acquires him. He is set to earn just under $22.5 million in 2021-22, but it declines by roughly $2 million each season.
