The Miami Heat have been linked to many big-name NBA players since last offseason. They have not had a chance to make a move but this could be the offseason that the front office is aggressive. After a disappointing season, it is likely that Miami tries to improve right away.
The Heat finished sixth in the Eastern Conference. This was a huge letdown after a run to the NBA Finals last year down in the NBA Bubble. Miami was inconsistent all year and struggled with some injuries early on.
They were never able to recover and this led to a sweep in the first round by the Milwaukee Bucks. There have been some big names linked to Miami but some have agreed to contract extension, such as Giannis Antetokounmpo. There are still plenty of names out there for Miami to target.
One name to keep an eye on is Buddy Hield as a trade target. He was apparently disgruntled with the situation in Sacramento last year but the two sides did not split. Sacramento decided to hang onto their sharpshooter for another season. This could be the year that he has finally traded away.

The Kings will hold one of the topics in the upcoming draft and could look to put some intriguing prospect and Round De’Aaron Fox. Moving Hield would also land them a nice return to help the rebuild.
