Almost all of the Bucks scoring came from Giannis Antetokounmpo and Khris Middleton

Milwaukee scored a season-low 86 points in their Game 3 victory over the Nets and it seemed like only two guys were doing something for them offensively. Giannis Antetokounmpo and Khris Middleton combined for all of the Bucks’ 30 points in the first quarter and they combined for 79.1% of their team’s total scoring in this one.

In Game 4, this is not going to cut it for the Bucks because the Nets are not going to play as poorly as they did again. This was an anomaly game for both teams, but for the Nets, one of the best scoring teams during the regular season, they are going to come back in the next game of this series with fire.

All series long, the Bucks have struggled offensively, only averaging 93.0 points per game, and getting all of their production from just two guys does not fare well for them in terms of advancing to the Eastern Conference Finals.

If the Bucks are to win Game 4 and actually make this a series against the Nets, then Jrue Holiday must be better for them on the offensive-end of the court. He has done a good job on Kyrie Irving and others defensively, but the Bucks traded for Holiday with the intent that he can be their third high-level scorer in the postseason next to Giannis and Middleton.

Jrue Holiday only scored 9 points on 4-14 shooting in Game 3’s victory and in this series, Holiday is averaging just 13.0 points per game on 39.5% shooting from the floor. The Nets have shown that they are going to let Giannis shoot and the Bucks are letting him shoot for some reason instead of driving to the rim, which is why Holiday is the key in this series for Milwaukee.

He is the guy for the Bucks that controls the pace of play, sets the tone on defense on the perimeter and has the ability to knock down three-point shots, which is why Jrue Holiday needs to step up in a big way for the Bucks in Game 4, especially since Khris Middleton and Giannis Antetnokounmpo are not going to be taking all of the shots again.
