Following their victory over the Oklahoma City Thunder on April 3rd, Boston Celtics superstar Jaylen Brown revealed to NBA reporters that he is managing a left hand injury.

Despite this setback, Brown reassured fans that he doesn’t anticipate missing any upcoming games.

Regarded as one of the premier talents in the league, Brown has been a key contributor for the Boston Celtics this season, boasting impressive statistics across multiple categories.

Currently, he maintains averages of 23.2 points, 5.5 rebounds, 3.6 assists, 1.2 steals, and 0.5 blocks per game. Additionally, he has showcased solid shooting percentages, with a 50.1% field goal rate, 35.8% from beyond the arc, and 70.1% from the free-throw line.

Last summer, the Boston Celtics secured Brown’s talents with a lucrative five-year, $286 million contract extension, highlighting his importance to the team. Currently earning $28.5 million this season, his salary is set to increase to $49.4 million in the 2024-25 season.

Sitting atop the NBA standings, the Celtics boast an impressive record of 60-16, clinching home-court advantage throughout the 2024 playoffs. Despite this achievement, Brown remains grounded, acknowledging that every team will start with a clean slate once the postseason begins.

Selected as the third overall pick in the 2016 NBA Draft from the University of California, Jaylen Brown has steadily developed into a standout player for the Celtics. Throughout his career, he has maintained averages of 18.6 points, 5.3 rebounds, 2.4 assists, 1.0 steals, and 0.4 blocks per game.

His remarkable contributions have earned him three All-Star selections and one All-NBA team nod.
