The final two teams are two realistic options of teams that could actually be interested in trading for Kyle Kuzma. Just by looking at the roster of the Sacramento Kings, there are a few players that could interest the Lakers.

Of the options that could be available, Buddy Hield seems like a viable trade piece for Los Angeles to instill more shooting around LeBron James and Anthony Davis. If the Lakers want to finalize a deal for Hield, Kuzma would inevitably have to be included in the trade package.
The Kings could also look into moving Harrison Barnes and Marvin Bagley, which would open up both forward spots. Kuzma, who turns 26 years old in July, could use a change of scenery to allow him to evolve into the player he was expected to become.
That’s not to say that the Kings have been great at developing players. But for Kuzma, he wouldn’t need to travel far to play in Sacramento, and being a primary scorer on a losing team could benefit him on his next contract. Or it could also allow him to boost his trade stock, making him a valuable asset in the future.
