New York Knicks
The New York Knicks are going to be aggressive in finding another star player or potential star this offseason to pair with Julius Randle and RJ Barrett. It’s tough to say that Sexton is a bonafide star right now, but he absolutely has the potential to improve even further moving forward. Sexton is only 22 years old and has plenty he can work on in his game.

Watching the Knicks take on the Atlanta Hawks in the first round of the playoffs goes to show that New York desperately needs another go-to scorer. Sexton hasn’t had any trouble scoring the basketball in his young career, averaging 20.2 points per game on 45.8 percent shooting from the field. He’s also knocked down 38.5 percent of his three-point attempts thus far.
The one area that Sexton needs to grow in is his playmaking. For a player who had a 29.7 usage percentage this season, his 11.2 assisted points created per game (67th in the NBA) seems a bit low.
Luckily for the Knicks, they have guys like Randle and Barrett who can facilitate the ball — plus Derrick Rose if he returns in free agency — which allows Sexton to do what he does best: score.
