When the offseason gets underway in the NBA this summer, there are going to be a lot of moving parts. Among the teams that could look to offload some of their players, the Cleveland Cavaliers are reportedly open to dealing Collin Sexton for the right price.

Sexton was the No. 8 overall pick of the Cavaliers in the 2018 NBA Draft out of Alabama. His tenacity on the court and his ability to score were aspects of his game that enticed multiple teams in the draft process.

In his first three seasons, Sexton has definitely developed into a formidable offensive player, leading Cleveland in scoring with 24.3 points per game in 2020-2021.

The thing is, Sexton’s going to seek a long-term extension soon, and the Cavaliers are hesitant to shell out the money that Sexton desires. Given that, the former first-round selection could be on the move in the coming months.
