Nate Bjorkgren – Indiana Pacers
One of the more shocking moves last offseason was that the Indiana Pacers fired head coach Nate McMillan and hired former Raptors’ assistant Nate Bjorkgren to be the new head coach of this team. Early on, the Pacers found some success, but it seems like there have been internal issues with this team all year long.
Bjorkgren has been criticized at times due to his substitution methods and keeping his star players out of the game in key moments, but recently, rumors have surfaced that he has lost the trust and respect of the Pacers’ locker room.

ESPN’s Adrian Wojnarowski reported Tuesday that there seems to have been a bit of a “fall out” with Bjorkgren and the Pacers, stating, “Bjorkgren has significant work to do with his relationships among players throughout the team and with some members of the organization, but he has thus far shown a willingness to try to address those issues.”
At 30-34 and likely to lose in the Play-In Tournament, the Pacers have almost taken a step backwards from where they have been over the years, which is a direct reflection on Nate Bjorkgren as the head coach of this team.
After one season with the franchise, Nate Bjorkgren is on the “hot seat” in Indiana and they could very well look to move on from him in the coming offseason should the Pacers be “one-and-done” in the Play-In Tournament.
