Terry Stotts – Portland Trail Blazers
Terry Stotts being on the “hot seat” has been a narrative for over a year now, but this season, change may finally be coming to the Portland Trail Blazers. Expectations have been really high over the years and while they have gone to the playoffs 7 consecutive seasons, 8 after this year, they really have not gone anywhere as a franchise.
While it is great to make the playoffs and that is one of the goals every team has at the beginning of the year, this team has not made any real progress in the postseason over the years.

With Damian Lillard and C.J. McCollum, this team has two superstar players they can lean on, yet the Trail Blazers have underachieved and they just cannot find a way to become elite like other teams in the Western Conference have.
Defensively, the Blazers are the worst they have ever been and quite honestly, it just looks like this team is unmotivated at times. Stotts has been the head coach of Portland for 9 seasons now, but it seems like his time with the Trail Blazers will be coming to an end at the conclusion of this season.
Unless the Trail Blazers make an unexpected run to the Western Conference Finals or to the NBA Finals, it seems like a coaching change is inevitable in Portland.
