Jalen Green

It is unlikely that the Pacers would be able to get high enough in the 2021 NBA Draft to make this happen but they would definitely be interested in Jalen Green. He is one of the four best prospects in the draft. Green passed on the opportunity to play in college and signed with the Ignite in the G-League. During his time, Green showed that he is an elite prospect with a high ceiling in the NBA.

Green is arguably the best scorer in the draft. Cunningham is an incredible talent but a case could be made for Jalen Green being the best pure scorer. He averaged 17.9 points per contest and shot 46.1% from the field in the G-League. Green is an elite scorer and this is his biggest attribute.

Other than that, Jalen Green needs to improve defensively but he has star potential right away. In most NBA mock drafts, Green has been taken with the fourth pick and it is highly unlikely that he falls out of the top five.

Indiana would have to move up a ton if they want to land Jalen Green. This might be an unrealistic option but it is a fun one to think about. Green is the next-level prospect that could excite Pacers’ fans right away.
