Nemanja Bjelica – Sacramento Kings
Now in his sixth season in the NBA, Nemanja Bjelica has emerged as a solid veteran target for many teams around the league and could be a sneaky good trade target for the Chicago Bulls. They have a fair amount of frontcourt talent, especially when both Otto Porter Jr. and Lauri Markkanen return, but the 32-year old forward gives the Bulls plenty of options.
This team has proven that they can win without Lauri Markkanen and Otto Porter Jr. which is why both of these guys could be one the move at the trade deadline. If the Bulls decide to trade either of these guys, this will open up minutes for a player like Bjelica, which is why he is an under-the-radar trade target for them.
In 19 games with the Kings this year, Nemanja Bjelica is averaging 8.5 points, 4.2 rebounds, 2.2 assists and is shooting 48.3% from the floor, 33.3% from three-point range. Over the course of his career, the veteran forward has shot 39% from deep, making him a stretch forward that could bring a lot of value to the Bulls.
While $7.1M is a lot to pay a guy like Bjelica, who is not a high-level player, he is in the final year of his contract and would be like a “one-year rental” for any playoff contending team that targets him. He is not worth $7.1M, but is one of the better veteran role players available on the trade block, which is why plenty of teams have expressed interest in him.

Bjelica is not going to average double-digit points and is not going to be a terrific rebounder, but his ability to play 15-20 solid minutes every night and be a threat from the perimeter is what makes him unique. Not to mention, he is a very solid player to add for depth purposes.
The Sacramento Kings are looking to “sell” at the trade deadline and as a result, Nemanja Bjelica is one of the few players on the Kings that numerous teams have their eye on ahead of the NBA trade deadline.
