Victor Oladipo – Houston Rockets
While he just joined the Houston Rockets in January, Victor Oladipo has found himself a part of many trade scenarios the last few weeks and the Chicago Bulls are a team that could look to target the former All-Star guard.
The thing with the Chicago Bulls right now is that while they are in a really strong position as a franchise, they do not have the firepower or starpower to match-up with the better teams in this league. As a result, if they were to make the playoffs, they would likely be a team that sees an early exit and will not be able to overcome the top seeds in a seven-game series.
The Bulls need to find ways to add more All-Star level talent around Zach LaVine if they are to once again become title contenders, which is why trading for Victor Oladipo would make a lot of sense.
While he is in the final year of his contract and set to become a free agent at the end of the year, Victor Oladipo is just 28-years old and can be a part of Chicago’s plans for years to come. The only question though is if he would commit to playing with LaVine and the Bulls long-term because recent reports say he wants to go to Miami in free agency.
If trading for Oladipo is only going to be for this year, then this trade scenario makes no sense for the Bulls, but if he is willing to give them a shot for a couple of seasons, then he is definitely worth the risk.

Pairing Zach LaVine with Victor Oladipo gives the Bulls two high-level talents to build with and around for years to come. They do have plenty of youthful talents as well, so adding Victor Oladipo could be the start of something great in Chicago.
With him being 100% healthy again after suffering a major leg injury just a couple of years ago, Oladipo has looked like his old All-Star self at times, which would be huge for the Bulls chances of making the playoffs this year and moving forward. While he remains a trade target for numerous teams around the league, the Chicago Bulls should definitely express interest in the combo-guard.
