New Orleans Needs To Move A Point Guard
The New Orleans Pelicans are actively looking to trade away at least one of their point guards at the NBA trade deadline this year and Eric Bledsoe could be the logical decision.
The Pelicansare high on the potential of Kira Lewis Jr. and they will be looking to trade away one of their guards to open up more playing time for the rookie. Lonzo Ball has been mentioned in NBA trade rumors, too, but it makes far more sense to move Eric Bledsoe instead.
The Bulls could go after Eric Bledsoe due to his cheaper price tag and long term stability at point guard. New Orleans already is playing Bledsoe out-of-position often because of the logjam and he was needed in the Jrue Holiday trade for salary matching purposes.
The Bulls trading for Eric Bledsoe makes too much sense for a deal not to get done and the Pelicans should look towards making a deal happen at the NBA trade deadline. It seems all of the circumstances are in their favor.
