Eric Bledsoe Could Take Pressure Off Zach LaVine
The biggest reason the Chicago Bulls are looking for another point guard to add to the team is because they need to do whatever it takes to take some pressure off of Zach LaVine. LaVine is the face of the franchise in Chicago but adding a player like Eric Bledsoe could help aide him.
Eric Bledsoe isn’t a guy who’s going to dominate an opponent on a nightly basis, but he is a guy that is good enough to hold his own. He possesses a real ability to get downhill to get to the rim, or create spray out three-pointers for spot-up threats.
Anywhere the Bulls can receive some consistent points from another player not named Zach LaVine, they should go for it. It’s all the better if it can come from a player who is not only just passable on defense, but is an actually impact player on that end.
Adding some help to build around Zach LaVine is crucial to the success of the Chicago Bulls moving forward and they could address that need at the trade deadline this year.
