More Experience For Championship Run
While it is great to talk about some of the rising teams in the NBA and some of the younger players in the league becoming faces of a new generation, at the end of the season, the winners of championships are not new faces. The teams with the most experience and veteran leadership are always contending for championship and ultimately, wind up winning them.
Having key players with playoff and championship experience is essential to any team regardless of how much talent is on the roster. Honestly, this Bucks team does not have much playoff experience and no player on their roster has ever made it to the NBA Finals at any point in their career.
Lou Williams may not have championship experience, as he is still hunting for a ring, but he has plenty of playoff experience and has played with some of the league’s best players over the years. He knows what it takes to win games and come playoff time, his experiences in this league could boost him into a bigger role with the Bucks than the likes of other young talent on this team.
Over the course of his career, he has been one of the best scorers on his team, a knock-down three-point shooter, a great facilitator and a key veteran talent for his team. Lou Williams has adapted to a new role on every team he has been on for the greater good of the organization and has always made a difference off-the-bench.
The only thing he has not done in his career is win a championship, even though he has been a part of some championship-caliber teams over the last several years. Acquiring Lou Williams gives the Bucks a key veteran talent that knows what it takes to win a championship and a player who will give it his all every time he is on the court.
