Los Angeles Clippers Receive: Terry Rozier

Charlotte Hornets Receive: Lou Williams, Ivica Zubac

If the Charlotte Hornets is going to trade one of their guards, Terry Rozier seems like the pick. He is the guard that would get them the biggest return but is also on the largest contract.

This would be a salary dump for Charlotte to help their financial situation moving forward. Rozier is under contract through the 2021-22 NBA season and is set to earn an average salary of $18.9M.

The Hornets would get back the best sixth man in the NBA in Lou Williams. He would be a nice back up to both LaMelo Ball and Devonte’ Graham coming off the bench. They would also get some help in the frontcourt from the Los Angeles Clippers with Ivica Zubac.

Let’s take a closer look and see how this trade centered around Terry Rozier would benefit both the Charlotte Hornets and Los Angeles Clippers.
