Why This Trade Would Benefit The Charlotte Hornets

The Charlotte Hornets are a team that is built extremely heavy in the backcourt. This is not the case down low. They will need to balance out their roster if they want to make any move towards competing. Here is a chance for the Hornets to pick up a quality big and some depth at point guard.

This deal would not hurt the team too much given their star power. They would still have LaMelo Ball and Devonte’ Graham to rely on moving forward. When looking at the frontcourt, Cody Zeller is in the final year of his deal and will not be back with the tea.

The Hornets need a strong option down low to balance out the offense with their guard play. Lou Williams is a veteran name who would benefit the young guards moving forward.

The Hornets still have some years left before they will compete. In the NBA Draft, they went with the best player available in LaMelo Ball and now could look to get some more balance in a trade.
