Steph Curry, the Golden State Warriors’ poster child, has been dominant thus far in 2021 and is leaving no doubt that he is still the best pure shooter in the NBA. Curry, 32, is coming off an injury plagued 2019-20 NBAseason where he appeared in just five games, but he is now putting the fate of Golden State on his shoulders.

It’s safe to say that Steph Curry has gotten off to a rapid start in 2021 as he’s averaging 26.4 points per game, 4.6 rebounds per game, and 6.6 assists per game through six games played.

The six-time NBA All-Atar also took the league by storm when he posted the best stat line the league has seen so far when he dropped a career-high 62 points against the Portland Trail Blazers on Sunday. Curry also shot just over 58 percent from the field in that game while snagging five rebounds and dishing out four assists.

Curry is proving that his injury isn’t carrying over into the new season and the two-time NBA MVP is putting up numbers that could earn him another coveted award if he continues this pace.

There were a lot of comments and concerns surrounding how well Curry would be able to play both coming back from his injury and not having Klay Thompson for the season, but maybe he will be able to lay these critics to rest following his career night.
