Zach LaVine
Zach LaVine has elevated his play to another level for the Chicago Bulls— proving to be the team’s best offensive weapon thus far in the early going of the 2020-21 NBA season. While LaVine isn’t the only star in Chicago, none of his teammates have managed to outshine his performance throughout the squad’s first six games.
LaVine’s best game of the season came against the Dallas Mavericks on January third when the seven year veteran popped off for 39 points, five assists, and shot 56 percent from the field.
It also cannot go without mentioning, LaVine managed to drop 29 points in the first half of that game, which was the most by any Bulls player since Michael Jordan dropped 30 in a half back in 1997.
LaVine is certainly on pace to be an NBA All-Star this season if he keeps up the good work, but he could also be a highly sought after player when the trade deadline rolls around later in the season. LaVine is seemingly wasting his talents with Chicago, but his efforts alone are managing to keep the team afloat in the East.
If LaVine continues to trend upwards, expect him to be considered one of the top shooting guards in the Eastern Conference.
