New York Knicks Receive: Lonzo Ball

New Orleans Pelicans Receive: Kevin Knox II, Reggie Bullock, 2021 2nd Round Pick (via DET), 2021 2nd Round Pick (via CHA)

Lonzo Ball would get the fresh start that he needs with a New York Knicks team that could use help at the point guard position. A player with Ball’s skill-set would join a core that includes RJ Barrett and Obi Toppin. The Knicks have plenty of trade assets that they could part ways with.

Kevin Knox would be the first player on his way out of New York in this deal. He is another player who would benefit from a new start, especially with the New Orleans Pelicans— where there is not as much pressure. Reggie Bullock and second-round NBA Draft capital would also head to New York in the deal, too.

Here is a closer look at how each side would benefit from this trade immediately during the 2020-21 NBA season.
