4. San Antonio Spurs
The storyline here would be extremely entertaining. Marcus Morris and the San Antonio Spurs had a deal in place before he signed with the Knicks. Gregg Poppovich said the situation was handled poorly but they will have a chance to make it right.
The Spurs are coming off a season where they missed the playoffs for the first time in 22 years. This has put them in rebuild mode.DeMar DeRozan and LaMarcus Aldridge could be dealt this offseason.
Dejounte Murray will lead the charge on both ends of the floor. Adding Morris to the mix would give them another scoring option on a team-friendly deal.
Unless ties have been completely cut, the two sides might be able to come to an agreement this time around. There is clearly and attraction between both sides and that could cause talks to heat up again.
