3. Los Angeles Clippers

The Los Angeles Clippers are first on this list because they are the team that traded for Marcus Morris at the deadline prior to the shutdown. It is unlikely that the team would give up a first-round pick just for half a season. Morris would re-sign with the Clippers on a team-friendly deal since they will be competing for a championship.

The Clippers have two superstars in Paul George and Kawhi Leonard, but Morris is a nice complement on the perimeter. He is a player that brings toughness to the lineup and can score a basket when needed.

Ty Lue is now the coach in Los Angeles. He has experience coaching superstars during his time in Cleveland and that will have to transfer over to Los Angeles.

It is unknown what Morris will do considering he has switched agencies this offseason. The Clippers will be trying to retain their player when the time comes after making a deadline moves toward the beginning of the calendar year.
