2. Markus Howard, Marquette
Howard burst onto the scene when he was a freshman at Marquette. He shot 54.7% from deep on 4.8 attempts per game. Howard quickly turned into one of the most dynamic player in the nation and that continued over the course of four years.
During his career at Marquette, Howard shot 42.7% from the three-point line on 7.9 attempts per game. Howard is one of the best shooters in college basketball history. He is one of just three players to shoot at least 42% while attempting over 1,000 three’s in his career.
The concern with Howard is how his shooting will translate into the NBA. He is an undersized guard at 5-foot-11 and that has him going in the second-round.
Howard was one of the most entertaining players in college basketball for four years. He will have a chance to prove the doubters wrong once he is selected in the NBA Draft.
