3. Desmond Bane, TCU

Bane could be one of the steals in this year’s NBA Draft. The allure of one-and-done players has taken over the draft, but a four-year player cannot be forgotten. Bane spent four years at TCU and was an elite three-point shooter since he day he stepped on campus.

Over the course of his career, Bane shot 43.3% from deep while averaging 4.3 attempts. As a senior, his numbers rose to 44.5% on 6.5 attempts per game.

The increasing confidence from year to year was visible with Bane. There is a chance Bane is drafted in the first round, but it is likely that he will fall to the second. This would be a steal for a team early in the second round to get a player that can shoot the lights out like Bane.

Bane is an intelligent player having spent four years developing in college. He is a strong defender who likes to take on the challenge of the other team’s best player. There is a lot to like about Bane and what he can bring to an NBA team.
