1. Los Angeles Clippers
What a disappointing end to the 2019-2020 season for the Clippers. They entered the NBA bubble as the favorite to win the NBA title but they were eliminated in seven games by the Denver Nuggets. The Clippers were unable to make it to the Western Conference Finals which is inexcusable given their roster.
Rivers is now in Philadelphia and Tyronn Lue was named the next head coach of the Clippers. They have one of the best players in the league in Kawhi Leonard. Paul George received a lot of criticism for his postseason play.
Right now, the Clippers feature Patrick Beverly at the point guard position. Landry Shamet and Lou Williams are used off the bench. It is clear that they could use a reliable point guard who is used to playing with superstars— like Rajon Rondo.
Rondo did that exact same thing across town for the Lakers on their way to a championship. Rondo would not even have to move in this deal. If the Lakers do not want him back, Rondo should stay out west and sign with the Clippers. His role would be the same and he would play for a championship contender right away.
