2. Milwaukee Bucks
The Bucks have one of the league’s best players in Giannis Antetokounmpo. Milwaukee has been a dominant regular season team led by the back-to-back MVP. This has not transferred into the postseason. The Bucks have not been able to make it to the NBA Finals and it is time to make changes.
The fact remains that Giannis cannot lead the team by himself. He is a dominant presence in the paint but is not a ball-handler and cannot run the offense. This is where Rajon Rondo comes into play. The Bucks need a veteran guard to act as a coach on the floor.
Rondo is the perfect player to fit in. He has played with legendary big men such as Kevin Garnett, Shaquille O’Neal, and Dirk Nowitzki. Rondo has dealt with plenty of different personalities and has experience winning.
This would be a move that gives the Bucks a leader. Rondo would be able to get Giannis the ball in the perfect position along with the three-point shooters along the perimeter. This is one of the best fits for Rondo as he approaches free agency.
