4. Philadelphia 76ers
The Sixers are in need of a change. If they are going to keep the duo of Ben Simmons and Joel Embiid together, they will need to get another guard in there who can handle the ball. Play Simmons off the ball and let someone else run the offense.
This is where Rajon Rondo comes into the plan. “The Process” is done. Philadelphia was just swept out of the first round. This so-called process has failed and the Sixers have used it as a rallying call. It has not worked and it has turned into an excuse for losing.
Anyway, they need a leader. Right now, the Sixers have some star pieces but they do not play as a unit. Embiid, Simmons, and Tobias Harris do not gel on the court.
Rondo is a guard who could run the offense flawlessly. Let’s not forget about his days with Doc Rivers in Boston. Rondo would be able to get three-point shots for Harris, set up Embiid in position to score on the block, and handle the ball which takes pressure off Simmons.
