2. Sacramento Kings
The Kings tried to address the center position by adding a floor-stretching option in Dewayne Dedmon last offseason. That was an abject failure and now, Sacramento still face a need to address this spot.
There are still signs that Marvin Bagley is best suited to play the enter spot long-term. However, if the Kings don’t see it that way, they must have a stretch-five that can space the floor— making Myles Turner an option.
Having a stretch-big would go a long way for De’Aaron Fox since he has the explosiveness to get downhill against any guard. Forcing the opposition’s center to have to think twice about helping on Fox with fear of a pass being made to an open shooter would be ideal.
The Kings have struggled to get the job done on defense for quite some time, too. Turner could help the unit with his rim protection capabilities to help cover up mistakes out on the perimeter.
