3 reasons the Brooklyn Nets should not trade Spencer Dinwiddie

Andy Marlin-USA TODAY Sports

1. Chemistry

Here is the one factor most are forgetting regarding Spencer Dinwiddie but it’s maybe the most important. Fans love his play and hustle and that goes beyond his scoring explosion this year.

When the team was struggling last season before they made their eye-opening playoff push in 2019, Dinwiddie was a part of that team. Along with D’Angelo Russell, Jarret Allen, LeVert and others, Dinwiddie was a big reason for that push.

Even with Irving, Durant, and DeAndre Jordan on the roster now, the Nets still need that chemistry they had last year. Keeping a player with his talent and leadership ability will go a long way to helping the Nets reach the next level.
