He has a chance to become the next Lou Williams. Throughout his career, Williams has made a name for himself as the best 6th Man in the NBA.

Much like Willimas, Dinwiddie can play two positions (PG/SG) and maybe a 3rd (SF) if asked to. With Durant in the lineup next season, having a scoring threat off the bench will be helpful more than some fans even know.

Plenty of playoffs teams head into the trade deadline searching for bench help. The Nets have that in Dinwiddie. The Nets’ bench needs an upgrade and having Dinwiddie there on a regular basis is wise.
