The Philadelphia 76ers are monitoring Chicago Bulls guard Zach LaVine and Toronto Raptors forward OG Anunoby as trade targets, according to NBA insider Shams Charania of The Athletic and Stadium.

LaVine is looking to get traded by the Bulls, while several teams around the NBA are interested in acquiring Anunoby.

LaVine would like to land with the Los Angeles Lakers, Miami Heat, Sixers, San Antonio Spurs or Sacramento Kings, according to NBA insider Jake Fischer of Yahoo Sports. The Bulls are expected to trade LaVine before the February trade deadline.

NBA NEWS & TRADE RUMORS: Zach LaVine, OG Anunoby, Philadelphia 76ers Updates

LaVine doesn’t have a no-trade clause in his contract, so he can’t control where he gets traded. The two-time All-Star hasn’t played since November 28 due to a foot injury.

LaVine is averaging 21.0 points, 4.9 rebounds and 3.4 assists this season while shooting 44.3% from the floor, 33.6% from 3 and 86.6% from the free-throw line. He signed a five-year, $215 million contract with the Bulls in July 2022.

Anunoby is one of the top two-way players in the NBA. For the Raptors this season, he’s averaging 14.7 points, 4.0 rebounds, 2.5 assists and 1.0 steals while shooting 46.9% from the field, 37.2% from beyond the arc and 69.2% from the foul line.

Anunoby has a player option for next season. He’s expected to decline it and enter unrestricted free agency after this season. The NBA champion signed a four-year, $72 million extension with the Raptors in December 2020.

The Sixers are 19-8 on the season. They are in third place in the Eastern Conference standings. Philadelphia doesn’t have to make a trade since Joel Embiid, Tyrese Maxey and Tobias Harris are one of the best “Big 3s” in the NBA.

However, Daryl Morey is one of the most aggressive execs in the NBA, so he could make another trade after sending James Harden to the Los Angeles Clippers.
