From an optimist’s point of view, the Boston Celtics are in a position to make NBA history. 

After all, they’re down 0-3 to the Miami Heat in the Eastern Conference Finals. No team has ever overcome that deficit. What an opportunity!

Jokes aside, the Celtics are probably done for the year. For argument’s sake, let’s assume that they won’t be moving on. What should they do next? 

They’ll certainly have some decisions to make. Jaylen Brown made an All-NBA team this summer. He’ll qualify for the supermax.

Should the Celtics give it to him, or should they move on? 

If they choose the latter route, here’s a deal that sends him to the Golden State Warriors.
