Why The Boston Celtics Do The Deal 

Part of the equation here is whether Brown is unhappy in Boston. 

It feels like he might be. Brown has made some questionable comments in interviews. His time in Boston may be running up no matter what happens for the rest of these playoffs. 

If so, this is an interesting trade. Wiggins can function as a replacement for Brown. He’s not as dynamic of a shot creator, but he may actually be a better defender.

Wiggins is a win-now piece that will help Boston right away. With that said, Kuminga may be the highlight of this package. This is a player with clearcut star potential.
