Of course he should. This is the Point God. 

Is Paul in his prime? No. He’s well outside of it. With that said, he would still have a lot of value to this Rockets squad. 

If nothing else, he could be a mentor. The Rockets don’t have a traditional point guard on their roster. Wouldn’t Kevin Porter Jr. benefit from learning from one of the best to ever play the position? 

With that said Paul may even be a better starter than Porter Jr. The Rockets owe their 2024 first-round pick to the Oklahoma City Thunder with top-4 protection.

They’ll be looking to take a step forward next summer. If nothing else, Paul is still solid enough to be part of this rotation next season.
