Sometimes, they’re just a piece away. For example, the Cleveland Cavaliers need a quality wing. Once they get one, they should be serious title contenders. 

The Brooklyn Nets need a bigger piece. They need a star. Still, if they could land one, they could be a powerhouse in the Eastern Conference. 

What they could do is move some of their supporting pieces to shake up the roster as they navigate a rebuild around Mikal Bridges.
