Why The New York Knicks Do The Deal
Apparently, Mitchell Robinson feels as if he could handle a bigger role in New York. Here’s the problem – he hasn’t had the opportunity to showcase the abilities to handle one.
Why should the Knicks take that leap of faith? Wouldn’t it be more sensible to trade Robinson for a big man that they already know can handle a larger slice of the team’s offensive pie?
Adebayo is certainly that guy. Meanwhile, he’s not just a more polished offensive player than Robinson. He’ll be a fantastic fit with this Knicks group as well.
After all, they’ve already got scorers. Adebayo’s best offensive ability is his gift for distribution.
