The Hornets would need to ask themselves some questions here. Specifically, they’ll be wondering whether Robinson is worth the risk. 

After all, they can’t offer him a much bigger role than the Knicks can. LaMelo Ball will obviously remain this team’s primary playmaker. Moreover, they’re likely to be adding a big-name prospect in this year’s draft. 

If that prospect is Victor Wembanyama, they’ll pass here. On the other hand, if it isn’t, it might be worth gambling on Robinson’s mentality. 

After all, finding a similar role on a second team could cause him to accept the reality of his game. So what if he’s not a featured offensive weapon?
