A disgruntled employee normally isn’t a productive employee. Often, they need to be replaced. A disgruntled NBA player can be the same way.
Of course, it depends on the employee. A more mature one may wait until the situation resolves amicably. Someone else might get caught spitting in the food.
Even the most mature players in the league won’t stay in a situation that doesn’t suit them for long. Often, that means they’ll become trade candidates.
We don’t care to speculate on the maturity level of Mitchell Robinson of the New York Knicks. We do know that he’s recently expressed discontent with the organization.
With that in mind, don’t be surprised if the Knicks send him elsewhere this summer.
Could they replace him with Onyeka Onkongwu of the Atlanta Hawks?
