It doesn’t appear likely that it will. Vucevic and DeRozan are only getting older. This core isn’t built to win, so the Bulls should rebuild.
Of course, some would argue that they ought to do so by trading Vucevic and/or DeRozan. Sure they should. At the same time, they won’t get enough value for either to put them in a position to maximize the remainder of LaVine’s prime.
With that in mind, they should move all 3 and get a fresh start. If the front office agrees, this is a good return.
