Boston Celtics Receive: F/C Karl-Anthony Towns 

It is unlikely that the Timberwolves fan base is envied by rival teams thanks to their lack of championship success. 

There are some bright spots among the gloom and doom. Despite the fact that Towns is still relatively young, Anthony Edwards is still a baby in NBA terms. Even so, there are legitimate concerns about this team as well. 

The team just traded four future first-round picks in exchange for Rudy Gobert, for example. In my opinion, he does not seem to be a good fit for the team so far. In the name of a mediocre present, the Wolves may have nuked their future. 

However, they could also just fix the roster if they wanted to. Many would have them trade Gobert in order to accomplish this.

There is a possibility that they could trade him, but in light of how this season has unfolded, his trade value is probably lower than ever before.
