New York Knicks Receive: G/F DeMar DeRozan
There was no denying the stardom of Derrick Rose when he played for the Chicago Bulls the last time around.
As a matter of fact, he was named the youngest MVP in the history of the league. During his prime, Rose was on a clear path to becoming a long-term superstar. Sadly, it didn’t work out that way in the end.
It was injuries that were to blame for the situation. Over the course of his career, Rose has struggled mightily with them. As a result, they robbed him, as well as the rest of the basketball watching world, of what was supposed to be his peak.
In spite of this, his story isn’t all doom and gloom. Despite these injuries, Rose was able to overcome them and go on to have a second career as a valuable role player.
