Every summer. fans across the NBA are optimistic. Every season, that optimism gets dashed. 

To hear the fans tell it, every team is either a legitimate contender or has the brightest young core in the NBA. Every roster fits. There are no problems, anywhere – in the summer. 

During the season, reality strikes. It becomes apparent that some situations are not what they appear to be on paper. Teams begin to disappoint their once-optimistic fans. 

The Minnesota Timberwolves have been tremendously disappointing this season.

Meanwhile, the Golden State Warriors have been a letdown following a title run as well.
