The Jazz have had something of a confusing season in 2022-23.

This team started the year off hot. That was unexpected. After moving Rudy Gobert and Donovan Mitchell this summer, they were largely expected to tank. 

During the latter stretch of the season, the Jazz have come back down to earth. To an extent. At 19-17, this team is still very much in the playoff hunt. 

That’s fine. They also haven’t leaned on Sexton as hard as the Lakers would likely have to.
