Some players never reach stardom. That’s fine. There’s plenty to be proud of in making a career as a role player in the NBA.
Other careers flirt with stardom without ever really reaching it. Perhaps an injury derailed their career. Time will tell whether that’s the case for Collin Sexton of the Utah Jazz.
On the other hand, some players reach absolute stardom. Even then, Father Time inevitably robs them of their impact.
For example, it’s doubtful that Russell Westbrook will ever perform like a superstar in the NBA again.
